ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Patricia McCracken, DPT, MBA, is the founder of Optimal Mobility and a 30-year veteran of the US Army. Patricia’s professional interests and expertise include clinical research project management and medical device product development focused on rehabilitating individuals with osteoarthritis, spinal cord injury, limb loss, peripheral neuropathy, and neurodevelopmental pediatrics.

Beginning as a small start-up, Optimal Mobility was propelled by CEO Dr. Patricia McCracken's expertise in pediatrics, rehabilitation medicine, and medical device development. The company's journey started with developing a mobile standing wheelchair for veterans through strategic collaborations and grants.
Participation in I-Corps programs further honed Optimal Mobility's product design and business strategy, paving the way for accelerated research and commercialization endeavors.
